Lapp has announced many new enhancements to its OLFLEX® 190 multi-conductor control cable. Lapp USA, formerly Olflex Wire & Cable and Contact Electronics, has designed the OLFLEX® 190 to perform exceptionally well in many industrial environments. OLFLEX® 190 is now produced in the USA, at the new Lapp Group manufacturing facilities in Florham Park, NJ. UL approved, CSA and NOM certified, the CE conforming OLFLEX® 190 provides superior resistance to mineral oils, synthetic oils and water-based coolants, thanks to a specially blended oil-resistant insulation, as well as a jacket that now passes the stringent requirements of Oil Res. I & II, plus, UL Style 21098. Included in the series is the shielded OLFLEX® 190 CY, which incorporates a tinned copper braid for isolation from electrical interference. The OLFLEX® 190 features include: 600 V working voltage; - 40°C to + 90°C temperature range; bending radius: 4 X cable OD; conductor sizes ranging from 20 AWG through 2 AWG. Each conductor is marked every 20 mm for easy identification and error free installation. This durable series is ideal for use in all types of electrical equipment, in dry, damp or wet conditions, such as machine tools, assembly lines, control systems, connections between control panels, CNC machining centers/grinding machines, and bottling equipment — anywhere flexibility, durability and oil resistance are required. As part of the worldwide Lapp Group, Lapp Group NA offers a complete one-stop automation solution for cable and connector needs. Lapp has the broadest range of products, including OLFLEX®, UNITRONIC®, and SILFLEX® flexible and continuous-flex cables, SILVYN® cable track and accessories, EPIC® rectangular, circular, and Pin & Sleeve Connectors, SKINTOP® strain relief cable glands, FLEXIMARK® Cable Marking Systems, remote access ports, and custom harness assemblies.
