Lapp offers a full line of UL Recognized remote access ports which provide external access to electronic equipment mounted inside a control panel. Remote access ports accommodate hundreds of different components and can be custom built to your requirements.

These devices, which are housed in our standard EPIC® panel mount bases, provide quick and easy access to control panel functions and internal connections while addressing safety and environmental concerns over “live” open control enclosures. These sealed ports act as windows which provide IP 65 (NEMA 4, 4X, 12) protection when closed and serve as an input/ output control interface when open. Our remote access ports work in conjunction with but not limited to the following protocols; Ethernet, mouse, keyboard, monitor, printer, Device Net, Control Net, Interbus, and Modicon 984. A large number of standard and custom configurations are available which include: AC outlets, circuit breakers, phone jacks, DIN couplers. D-sub connectors, key lock switches, computer data storage devices (floppy disk, zip drive, super drive, and CD-ROM) and just about any customer component that can fit in the available housings.
